ATA Executive Team

Steve Uhrich, BA SUDP

Steve is a lifelong resident of Washington State and a Business Administration graduate of the University of Portland. He has over 15 years prior experience in sales and marketing management, which he brings to his role as executive director of Assessment & Treatment Associates. Steve is a Chemical Dependency Professional and has owned and operated ATA for the last 10 years. His hobbies include golf, cycling, sports conditioning, cooking and boating.

Gary Umemoto, BA

Gary is a lifelong resident of Washington State and a Business Administration graduate of Central Washington University. He brings 20+ years of customer service, project management, financial efficiencies and office administration experience to his role as Chief Operations Officer for Assessment & Treatment Associates.

Alex Mirochnik, BA SUDP

Alex Mirochnik has worked in chemical dependency counseling since early 2012 and has been involved in majority of areas relating to the field including facilitating group and individual sessions, insurance utilizations, assessments, clinical supervision. He completed the chemical dependency certification program in 2012 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2015. In his current role as the Clinical Director, Alex is committed to helping others relating to their chemical dependency and counseling needs and believes that an individual’s substance use disorder should not define who they are.

Sharon Fenton, BSW/CDP

Sharon graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work in 1993. She began working in the chemical dependency field in 1994 and became certified as a CDP in 1996. Sharon has been working in outpatient treatment on the eastside of King County for the past fourteen years. She joined ATA as the Director of Outreach & Program Development in February 2023.
